Open House

Every year, NHD concludes in the 7th and 8th grade commons with an open house.  Parents, grandparents, relatives, as well as, members of the community come out to view projects.  Anywhere from 300-400 people attend the NHD open house.

National History Day

16 Years of Competition​

Mr. Haskovec conducted NHD in the classroom for the 11th consecutive year.  All 7th and 8th grade students participate in the project competition.  All students deserve the chance to show their potential.

Parents viewing of projects will take place in 7/8 commons at 5:00 p.m. on the same day

Mr. Haskovec's classroom pre-district competition.  On most days, you will anywhere from 10-20 students prepping (after school) their projects for competition.  From February until competition day, the students within the Hudson 7th and 8th grade work hard to finalize their projects.
